Sailing my 51st as an honorary Hansmann.

I started sailing on White Lake in Michigan when I was 7 years old. Started racing scows at 10 yo (butterfly, MC, and E scows). Raced my first CYC Chicago to Mac in 1998 at age 13. I have completed 18 CYC Chicago to Mac races on 6 different vessels; Daybreak, Amateur II, Grand Cru, Wave Dancer, Endless Summer, Suspect. Came in 3rd in the cruising division in 2013 on Island Packet "Grand Cru". Came in 2nd in Div. 9 in 2016 on Saber 36 "Wave Dancer". Over the 18 Macs, I have been a general crew, foredeck, spinnaker trim, jib trim, driver, and watch captain. I have also completed numerous beer can races, several NOODS, and several Queen's Cups taking 3rd in one of them. Safety at Sea certified summer of 2023 I am US Sailing Level 1 certified along with US Sailing Cruising and Bareboat sailing. Lived most my life in Chicago and the Chicagoland area. Recently moved with my family to Wilmington, NC where I hope to get some ocean racing experience.
