This will be our 16th Mackinac race. Albatross is a Solaris One 42 we sailed across the Atlantic from Italy. She is happy in Lake Michigan but misses the salty water!

I have been racing competitively since the 90s, participating in events in both Chicago and San Francisco on T-10s, Etchells, and J105s. In 2012, I began racing the Mac. In 2016, I crossed the Atlantic on the ARC from the Canary Islands to St. Lucia, then completed the delivery from Martinique to West Palm Beach on a Solaris 42. On the 2019 Mac, I sailed on Albatross, achieving 1st to finish, 2nd in class, and 3rd in division. In 2023, we once again secured 1st in class. That same year, I sailed along the southern coast of Portugal and Spain, from Lagos through the Strait of Gibraltar to Marbella on a 29-foot day sailor. In 2024, I sailed from Sitges (Barcelona) to Mallorca on a Solaris 50, continuing to Menorca and Sardinia. Additionally, I have competed in the Solaris Cup from 2022 to 2024 in Porto Rotondo, Sardinia.
